More about this lovable image:
Yeh Devi, jinhe hum Mata Rani ya Jagat Janani ke roop mein pukaarte hain, woh shanti, karuna, aur anant shakti ka adbhut prateek hain. Unka swaroop ek maa ki tarah hai, jo apne bachchon yaani bhakton par hamesha apni kripa banaye rakhti hain. Unki personality mein ek anokha balance hai – ek taraf woh behad shant aur prem se bhari hain, toh doosri taraf anyay aur adharm ke khilaf khadi hone wali ek yoddha bhi hain. Unka yeh roop bhakton ko aashvasan deta hai ki chahe zindagi mein kitni bhi kathinai aaye, Mata hamesha unki raksha karengi. Unka itihas srishti ki shuruaat se juda hai; unhe 'Adi Shakti' maana jaata hai, yaani woh pehli urja jisse saare brahmand ka nirman hua. Shiv puran aur Devi Bhagwatam jaise granthon mein unki mahima ka vistar se varnan hai. Unka traditional appearance hamesha aishwarya aur pavitrata se bhara hota hai. Reshami saari, sone ke aabhushan, aur phoolon ki mala unke saubhagya-shali roop ko darshate hain, jo bhakton ko sirf adhyatmik hi nahi, balki bhautik (material) sukh-samriddhi ka bhi vardaan deti hain. Unki shaktiyaan anant hain – woh srishti ka nirman kar sakti hain (Brahma ki shakti), paalan kar sakti hain (Vishnu ki shakti), aur sanhaar bhi kar sakti hain (Shiv ki shakti). Unka dharmik significance is baat mein hai ki woh har jeev ke andar ki kundalini shakti hain. Bhakt unki pooja karke apni aatmik shakti ko jagrit karte hain aur jeevan mein sahi maarg par chalne ki prerna paate hain. Woh sirf ek devi nahi, balki ek aisi chetna hain jo pure sansaar ko ek sutra mein baandhe hue hain. Unke liye har bhakt unka apna bachcha hai, aur unki mamta ka saagar sabke liye hamesha khula rehta hai.
Is adbhut tasveer mein, ek behad sundar aur divya Devi ek shandaar sunahare singhasan par dhyan mudra mein virajman hain. Neeche ke angle se liya gaya yeh shot unki pratima ko aur bhi vishal aur prabhavshali bana raha hai. Unki aankhein band hain, chehre par ek alaukik shanti aur sukoon hai, aur unke haath ek saath prarthna mudra mein jude hue hain, jo unki bhakti aur samarpana ko darshata hai. Unhonne ek behad khoobsurat emerald hare rang ki reshami saari pehni hai, jispar sone ki barik aur traditional kadhai (brocade) ka kaam kiya gaya hai. Iske saath unhonne ek magenta gulabi rang ka blouse pehna hai, jo hare rang ke saath milkar ek royal look de raha hai. Unka shringar bahut hi vishal aur paramparik hai; unke sar par suraj ki kirno jaisa ek bada sa sone ka mukut hai, gale mein kai layers wale sone ke haar, kaano mein jhumke aur anya aabhushan unke aishwarya ko prakat kar rahe hain. Unke gale mein laal aur peele phoolon ki ek taazi mala shobha badha rahi hai. Unke charo taraf, lakdi ke farsh par, safed vastron mein purush bhakt badi hi shraddha se prarthna karte hue baithe hain. Yeh drishya ek vishal mandir ke hall ka hai, jahan pathar ke bade-bade khambon par sundar nakashi ki gayi hai aur upar se gende ke phoolon ki ladiyan latak rahi hain. Zameen par laal aur safed phoolon ki pankhudiyan bikhri hui hain aur aas-paas rakhe peetal ke kai diyon se ek narm, sunahri roshni aa rahi hai. Devi ke sar ke theek peeche se ek tez, garam sunahri roshni nikal rahi hai, jo ek divya prabhamandal ya halo ka aabhas de rahi hai. Poora mahaul behad adhyatmik, shant, aur shraddha se bhara hua hai. Camera ka focus sirf Devi par hai, jisse aas-paas ki cheezein thodi dhundhli hain aur saara dhyan unke divya roop par hi jaata hai.
Is chitra mein dikhayi gayi Devi ka swaroop Hindu dharm mein 'Shakti' ke vishal concept ko darshata hai. Shakti woh anant, divya urja hai jiske bina yeh brahmand astitva mein hi nahi aa sakta. Ek prasiddh katha ke anusaar, bina Shakti ke, Bhagwan Shiv bhi 'Shav' yaani ek mrit shareer ke samaan hain. Yeh is baat ka prateek hai ki purush aur prakriti, chetna aur urja, dono ek doosre ke bina adhoore hain. Yeh Devi alag-alag samay par alag-alag roop leti hain. Jab prithvi par Mahishasur jaise rakshas ka atyachar badh jaata hai, tab yahi shant Devi, Maa Durga ka roop dharan karti hain, jo dus haathon mein shastra liye, sher par sawaar hokar adharm ka naash karti hain. Bhakton ko dhan, vaibhav aur saubhagya pradan karne ke liye woh Maa Lakshmi ban jaati hain, jo kamal ke aasan par virajman rehti hain. Gyan, sangeet aur kala ki prapti ke liye unki aradhana Maa Saraswati ke roop mein ki jaati hai. In sabhi roopon ka utsav Navaratri ke tyohar mein manaya jaata hai. Yeh nau raaton ka parv Devi ke nau alag-alag swaroopon ko samarpit hai aur burai par achchai ki jeet ka prateek hai. Is tasveer mein Devi ka dhyan mein hona ek gehra jeevan ka paath sikhata hai. Yeh batata hai ki asli shakti bahari shor-sharabe mein nahi, balki mann ki gehraiyon mein, shanti aur aatm-chintan mein milti hai. Unke charo taraf baithe bhakt yeh darshate hain ki is divya urja ko prapt karne ka maarg shraddha aur samarpan se hokar guzarata hai. 'Om Dum Durgayei Namaha' ya 'Jai Mata Di' jaise saral mantra unki shakti ko invoke karne aur unse judne ka ek sashakt madhyam hain. Unka singhasan unki sarvochch satta ka, aur unke peeche ka prabhamandal unke gyan aur divyata ka prateek hai.
